Inside bets are bets or numbers in the center portion of the table , either straight up , a single number bet or combination bets - bets on two through six numbers.
A straight up bet To make a straight up bet , place the chips on the desired number without touching the borders.The payoff is 35 to 1.
A split bet is betting on two numbers that are side by side on the roulette table and is placed by placing the chip on the border of two numbers. The payoff is 17 to 1.
A street bet.A street bet is made by placing the chips on a row of numbers. The payoff is 11 to 1.
A corner bet a corner bet is a four number bet made by placing the chips at the intersection of four numbers. The payoff is 8 to 1.
A sucker bet A sucker bet is a five number bet and is made by placing the chips between 1 and 0. This bet covers 0 ,00 , 1, 2, and 3 and doesn't exist on European wheels. The payoff is 6 to 1.
A line bet A line bet is a six number bet. Chips are placed at and intersection between two rows and the payoff is 5 to 1.
Outside bets
Outside bets are bets placed outside the main field and include several types of bets includingd dozens , columns , red or black , even or odd and low or high.
A dozen bet The roulette table number section is divided into 3 blocks of 12 numbers labelled 1st 12 , 2nd twelve and 3rd twelve.A dozen bet is a bet that one of these 12 numbers will come out. 0 and 00 aren't included and the payoff is 2 to 1.
A column bet A column bet includes any of the numbers in one of the 3 columns ,0 and 00 aren't included.Place chips at one of the three columns , the payoff is 2 to 1.
A red or black bet At the center of the table outside the betting area are two boxes labelled red or black. A red or black bet is a bet that either a red of black color will come out.Place chips in either box to make this bet.The payoff is 1:1 and 0 and 00 don't count.
An even or odd bet An even or odd bet is a bet made that either even or odd number will come out.Place chips in either even or odd box , the payoff is 1 to 1 and 0 and 00 don't count in this bet.
En Prison En prison only applies to the French wheel and is when the winning number is zero , anyone who has placed an even outside money bet can lose half the amount or bet the amount for the next spin.
La partage La partage is the same as en prison except you can't let the bet apply to another bet.
Surrender The surrender rule applies to the American double zero wheel and is the same as la partage except it includes 0 and 00.
